A client since 2007, MountainView Regional Medical Center (MVRMC) is a 168-bed facility offering comprehensive health services to the surrounding communities of Las Cruces and southwestern New Mexico. MVRMC includes a fully-staffed 24-hour emergency care department, a Certified Chest Pain Center, Certified Stroke Center, and comprehensive intensive care services. A 15,000 square-foot Medical Plaza and Outpatient Surgery Center are co-located with the facility. MVRMC employs over 625 area residents, and physicians representing 35 medical specialties practice there.

Situation
MVRMC needed dedicated, reliable radiology coverage during the overnight and weekend hours to augment their already strong daytime coverage. They required seamless radiology services that were consistent with the high standards of care they demanded of their own daytime physicians. Moreover, they did not want their daytime radiologists to waste time and resources finalizing preliminary reports the next morning or addressing a backlog of overnight studies. MVRMC chose EagleEye because of EagleEye's commitment to provide accurate, timely final interpretations with direct access to the radiologists.

Solution
EagleEye provides a teleradiology solution to MVRMC that ensures consistent, accurate afterhours coverage. Providing final interpretations to the department by 8AM the next business day, EagleEye radiologists are immediately accessible to MVRMC's providers and technologists for consultation during their shifts.
